We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Skate Ontario Annual General Meeting will be held virtually on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 9:30am ET/8:30am CT. This will be a short meeting strictly to conduct the required AGM business including elections for the Board of Directors.
The meeting will be one (1) hour long and will be conducted virtually via the Skate Ontario Broadcast Site. All voting will be done by electronic ballot.
Voting Eligibility
To be eligible to vote at this meeting, each member club and skating school must pre-register for the meeting by completing a Delegate Form or a Proxy Form.
Skate Ontario requires that all Delegate and Proxy Forms be completed in full and submitted electronically by Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 11:59pm ET.

Please note that when a delegate is carrying multiple proxies (maximum 6), a separate electronic form must be completed and submitted for each proxy vote.
Please review the electronic forms and ensure you have all the required information prior to completing and submitting to register for the Annual Meeting.
In accordance with By-Law 3.15 – Delegates – Members will appoint in writing (inclusive of the electronic notice) to the Corporation the Delegate to represent the Member. Delegates must: be at least eighteen years of age; not have been found under the Substitute Decisions Act 1992 or under the Mental Health Act to be incapable of managing property; and be acting as the Member’s representative.
In accordance with By-Law 3.16 – Proxy Voting – Every Member entitled to vote at a meeting of Members may, by means of a proxy, appoint a proxy holder to attend and vote on behalf of the Member. Each proxy holder shall be a delegate and may carry a maximum of six (6) proxies.
By Thursday, September 18, 2025, confirmed delegates and proxy holders will receive login instructions for Skate Ontario’s webinar and voting platforms. Delegates will be required to login on Saturday, September 20, 2025 by 9:15am ET/8:15am CT. The meeting will commence at 9:30am ET/8:30am CT on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
A pre-AGM webinar will be held on September 15, 2025 at 12:00 Noon ET to deliver a detailed presentation the Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025. For the Zoom link, please click here.
