Skate Ontario coaches must create their coaching profiles prior to having skaters register for any Skate Ontario events.
Only coaches with an active coach profile can be listed by athletes as their attending coach while registering for events. For the 2026-2027 season, all Skate Ontario Coaches with an active profile will receive a Digital Accreditation Card! This move to a digital card will remove the need for Coaches to carry their Black & White Accreditation cards and will provide Skate Ontario staff and LOC’s quick and easy access to confirm if coaches are in Good Standing.
Coaches will need to present this card at Coach Registration at each Skate Ontario event before being granted access. A printable PDF version will also be available for coaches who prefer not to use the digital version.
Temporary identification will be provided at each event after verification of your Digital Accreditation Card. Please use the following link to access your existing SkateReg Coach Profile or create a new one:

1. I am having trouble accessing my SkateReg coach profile. How do I access my account to make updates and pay the accreditation fee?
Please use the link below to access your account:

2. I updated my profile and paid for the 2026–2027 season. Why can’t I find my Accreditation Card?
3. I already pay for a Skate Canada Coach Membership. Why do I also need to pay for Skate Ontario Coach Accreditation? Fees collected through the Skate Ontario Coach Accreditation process help support the following:
4. I am an out-of-province coach. Do I need to create a Skate Ontario profile to coach at Skate Ontario events?
Yes. To coach at a Skate Ontario event, out-of-province coaches must create a coach profile in SkateReg. This allows skaters to select your name during event registration. When setting up your profile, please choose the “Out-of-Province” option. There is no charge for out-of-province coaches.
5. Why can’t my skater find my name during event registration?
If your skater cannot find your name in the coach drop-down list during registration, your profile may not yet be reactivated for the 2026–2027 season. Please log in to your SkateReg Coach account and ensure your profile is up to date, all required information has been submitted, and the $25 accreditation fee has been paid. I do not have access to a smartphone. How do I access my digital accreditation card? You may print the PDF version of your accreditation card and present it at events instead of using the digital version.
