Synchro Series January Venue Update:
Skate Ontario and the Kingston Synchronized Skating Club were recently notified that the Slush Puppie Place is no longer available on Friday, January 23, 2026.
The categories scheduled for Friday, January 23, 2026, will now be held at Invista Centre, 1350 Gardiners Rd., Kingston.
Teams that skate twice will not be scheduled on Friday so as to not skate on two different ice surfaces. As stated in the event announcement due to high school exams, adult teams may be scheduled on Friday. The competition venue will move to Slush Puppie Place for Saturday and Sunday as originally planned.
Per the normal timeline, the schedule will be posted at least 3 weeks before the event commences and likely before that.

As part of Skate Ontario’s expanded live broadcast program this season, video recordings of events that are broadcast on the Skate Ontario website will no longer be available for individual purchase from the on-site competition videographer. This change reflects the introduction of a subscription model for broadcast competitions and aligns with updated agreements regarding video distribution rights. Athletes and families will continue to have access to high-quality event coverage by purchasing through our official live broadcast platform, which remains the exclusive source for viewing and replaying performances from these competitions.
TEAM MANAGER & CHAPERONE ACCREDITATION
Accreditation tags for the 2025-2026 season have not changed. Synchro teams who have received their Black Team Manager and Chaperone accreditation tags from either the 23/24 or 24/25 should continue to use their tags for the upcoming season. For new teams who have not received their accreditation tags, requests should be sent to [email protected].
For Teams who have misplaced or lost their accreditation tags, replacement tags are available for purchase. Cost of a replacement tag is $25.00. Replacement tag requests should be sent to [email protected].
