To participate in this course it is required and mandated that you have Hockey Skates, Gloves and Ringette/Hockey stick. Reminder this course should not be taught in Figure Skates and course participation in figure skates will result in not passing the course.

Clubs/skating schools must have PowerSkate trained or certified coaches delivering the Skate Canada PowerSkate program. This process has been updated to an NCCP certification process (like CanSkate, Regional, etc.)

Coaches delivering the PowerSkate program beyond September 1, 2022 must have a CanPowerSkate status within the Locker.

This means coaches who were previously CanPowerSkate trained and/or certified must transition to the new NCCP PowerSkate pathway or challenge the NCCP CanPowerSkate evaluation for equivalency.
