The Board of Skate Ontario is pleased to announce Lisa Alexander as the new Executive Director of Skate Canada Ontario Section. Lisa brings with her a wealth of sport experience as a volunteer and professional as well as a strong private sector background at the Director level in the hospitality industry. As a business professional, Lisa’s accomplishments include success in strategic vision and leadership, stakeholder relations, and human resource development. These skills and her strong reputation as a sports consultant complements her extensive network within both the Provincial and National sports communities.

An Olympic Silver Medalist in Synchronized Swimming, and an Olympic Coach, Lisa has a strong knowledge of high performance, a familiarity with club structure and dynamics, and a full understanding of the volunteer’s role in the sport environment. Lisa has served on the Board of the Canadian Sport Institute of Ontario and is the Past-President of the Mississauga Sport Council.

We are excited to welcome Lisa to the Ontario skating community and look forward to working with her vision and passion for sport as skating in Ontario reaches new levels of excellence.
