Thank you to all coaches who completed their Skate Ontario Coach Accreditation for the 2024–2026 seasons. For the 2026–2027 season, Skate Ontario Coach Accreditation will include a Digital Accreditation Card. Coaches will be required to present this card at Coach Registration for each Skate Ontario event as proof of good standing. The digital card will replace the need to carry personal Black & White accreditation cards and will allow Skate Ontario staff and LOC volunteers to quickly confirm a coach’s status.
A printable PDF version will also be available for coaches who prefer not to use the digital option. Once your Digital or PDF Accreditation Card has been verified at an event, you will be asked to scan a QR code to register your attendance and will then receive temporary identification for that event. Please follow the steps below to update or create your Skate Ontario Coach Profile for the 2026–2027 season. Completing this process ensures your profile is active, visible to skaters, and compliant for competition access. This process will be implemented for the September Sectional Series Event.
1. Log In to Skate Reg Please use this link to log in to your existing account or create a new Skate Ontario Coach profile.
2. Create or Confirm your Profile Please ensure your profile information is accurate and up to date.
You will be required to upload a headshot photo for your Digital Accreditation Card, as well as a photo of your Skate Canada Dashboard as proof of Good Standing for the season.
3. Pay for Your Accreditation You will be asked to complete payment of the $25 fee for the 2026–2027 accreditation cycle.
Fees collected through the Skate Ontario Coach Accreditation process help support the following: Administrative support for Skate Ontario programs and events, helping ensure Skate Canada standards are met. A safe and supportive environment for coaches within the Skate Ontario event system. The professional accreditation process required to coach athletes within the Skate Ontario event system. Event operations, from registration through to on-site support.
4. Download Your Digital Accreditation Card Your Digital Accreditation Card must be shown at coach registration for all Skate Ontario events.
A printable version will also be available in your account. Once you have completed all required steps in SkateReg and your Skate Canada Dashboard has been verified, your new Digital Accreditation Card will be emailed to you and made available in your profile under the Memberships and Licenses tab.
An Apple version will be an option, but it is not currently available for download. You will be notified when the Apple version becomes available. In the meantime, please make use of the Google or PDF versions.
Please allow 1–2 weeks for the verification process to be completed and for your digital card to become active. Thank you for your patience as we work through this new process. We wish you and your skaters a successful season.
