The 2021 Skate Canada Challenge virtual event concluded last weekend and we want to congratulate each and every one of the 68 Ontario entries and their coaches. After a season filled with uncertainties, we want to commend all of the athletes, coaches, parents, officials and volunteers for persevering and helping to make these events a success.
We are proud to say that in the eight events at #Challenge21, Ontario skaters won seven gold, three silver and three bronze medals, with Ontario sweeping both the Senior Women and Senior Men podiums. #SkateOntarioProud
We also want to acknowledge and congratulate the following skaters as had this been a ‘normal’ competitive season, 52 Ontario entries would have qualified to compete at Nationals. Congratulations to the following who would have made up Team Ontario on the national stage:
