As a pairs skater, Monica competed on the international stage in both the Junior and Senior Grand Prix circuits, highlighted by a trip to the Junior World Figure Skating Championships in 2008 after winning gold at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships that same year. Since retiring from competitive skating, Monica graduated from the University of Toronto and went on to work in concussion and head injury research. She has also been coaching skaters and athletes on the ice and in the gym for many years.
In her role as an Administrator, Sports Programs, she will provide support to high performance and provincial programming for all disciplines. With her passion and experience in skating, education and sport performance, we know she will be a great asset to the Skate Ontario team.
Please join us in welcoming Monica!
