Job Description
The Petrolia and District Figure Skating Club is an established skating club providing quality skating programming since 1963. We are currently seeking a contract StarSkate coach for the 2024/2025 skating season. A typical season operates from September to April with one StarSkate session weekly.
Requirements:
- Positive and encouraging attitude to help support and motivate students
- Works well in a team environment
- Able to effectively communicate with students, parents, other coaches, and the Board of Directors
- Follows all delivery standards for the Star 1-5 program as identified by Skate Canada
Qualifications
- NCCP Regional Coach In-training or higher required
- NCCP Regional Coach certified preferred
- Be a Registered Skate Canada Professional Coach in good standing
- First Aid Certification
