Job Description
The Elite Edges Skating School is seeking professional, enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated individuals to become a part of our coaching team. Our school is experiencing growth at all levels and is looking for individuals who are able to work in a team environment.
The successful candidates will be willing to coach at all levels from the grassroots and up.
The successful candidates will be expected to provide a safe, encouraging, and a positive training environment for all skaters, parents, coaches, officials, and volunteers.
The fundamental role of our team of coaches is to provide a fun and inclusive training environment to foster the development of all our skaters.
We provide programs year round at Canlan Sports – York.
Qualifications
- Regional Coach in Training or higher
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A reliable and committed work ethic
- Must hold a valid First Aid certificate
- Registered Skate Canada Professional Coach in good standing
- NCCP certified coaches must maintain a renewed NCCP certification status as per the Coaching Association of Canada’s (CAC) Maintenance of Certification Policy.
