Skate Canada Orangeville has been offering skating programs for over 65 years. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated STARSkate Coach to join our collaborative team. You will play a crucial role in the development of skaters at all levels in team environment. The successful candidate will be expected to provide comprehensive, consistent and reliable coaching across all levels of STARSkate. 

Our programs run Monday / Tuesday / Thursday evenings from September – March out of the Tony Rose Memorial Sports Complex.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level coaching to  skaters across different age groups and skill levels.
• Collaborate with other coaches to create cohesive training strategies and ensure consistent coaching methods and techniques.
• Analyze and assess skaters’ performances, providing constructive feedback and personalized coaching to enhance their skills and address areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with skaters, parents, and board members regarding training schedules, competition plans, and progress updates.
• Attend and provide coaching support during competitions.
• Stay updated with the latest updates from Skate Canada.
