Job Description
Orono FSC is entering its 79th season in the heart of the Village of Orono. OFSC is looking for a Regional Coach (in-training, trained, or certified) that is enthusiastic, motivated, and ready to join a community minded club, that looks to promote the love of skating in its athletes in a fun atmosphere. The position could include on ice and off ice sessions with skaters from Canskate to Star 5. OFSC is a growing club with 14 hours of ice time per week to provide quality programing that is aimed at exceeding Canskate Excellence and Star 1-5 Excellence with Skate Ontario.
Qualifications
Regional In-training Coach or higher (NCCP)
In good standing with Skate Canada
Experience coaching CanSkate and/or STARSkate programs is preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for developing skaters of all ages and abilities
