Job Description
Located in Etobicoke, the Silver Blades SC has been offering skating programs for over 70 years. With over 500 skaters, Silver Blades has a strong and supportive community.
We are seeking an experienced or in training Regional Coach and or Provincial Coach (in training or experienced) to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 season.
Our StarSkate sessions run from September-May, 7 days a week. Must be willing to coach club group lessons to our skaters.
Qualifications
- Regional coach, Regional coach in training or Provincial coach.
- Strong communication skills and a love for the sport
- Technical knowledge in all aspects of figure skating, including jumps, spins, footwork, and choreography and dance.
- Experience in individual and team coaching.
- Ability to work as a team player with our other coaches
- Knowledge of competition rules and regulations set by Skate Canada.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
