The Dundas Skating Club, a vibrant, volunteer-run Skate Canada-sanctioned club, is excited to welcome a STARSkate Coach for the upcoming 2025/2026 season! Located in scenic Dundas, Ontario, and operating out of Olympic Arena, our club thrives on a passion for skating, fostering a strong community of skaters across all ages and skill levels.

About Us

We proudly offer a variety of skating programs, including Parent & Tot, Pre-CanSkate, CanSkate, CanPower, and STARSkate. With approximately 24 hours of programming per week, our sessions run from September to May on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. We are honored to have earned the Exceeded Standard designation in the Skate Ontario CanSkate Excellence Program and to be Engaged in the STAR 1-5 Excellence Program.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated STARSkate Coach to join our collaborative coaching team. Reporting to our Program Manager, you will play a vital role in developing skaters at all levels, providing comprehensive coaching in Skills, Dance, and Freeskate. Our club embraces a team coaching format, offering many group lessons within the STARSkate program.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement structured training programs in Skills, Dance, and Freeskate.
• Collaborate with fellow coaches and the Program Manager to enhance skater development.
• Maintain consistent and reliable coaching coverage throughout the season.
