Job Description
The Goulbourn Skating Club is a welcoming, growing, and athlete-focused Skate Canada club located in Stittsville, Ontario. As our programming expands and our skater base grows, we’re looking for a Regional Certified Coach to help lead and support our STARSkate program.
At Goulbourn, we are proud to foster a friendly, team-oriented environment where coaches support one another and always put the skaters first. We are committed to providing high-quality, inclusive programming that helps every skater reach their potential — whether they’re skating for fun, fitness, or competition.

Coach STARSkate athletes across levels, with attention to both technical and artistic development

Collaborate with fellow coaches and club leadership to enhance our STARSkate and Competitive programs

Prepare skaters for assessments and local competitions, with an emphasis on confidence and progress

Contribute to a positive rink culture by supporting fellow coaches and mentoring developing athletes

Assist with seasonal planning, special events, and performance opportunities
Qualifications

NCCP Regional Coach Certified (minimum), registered and in good standing with Skate Canada

Experience coaching STARSkate and/or competitive athletes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and athlete-centered coaching environment

Availability for evening and weekend ice times

Current First Aid/CPR certification
