Job Description
The Ignace Skating Club is a small, community-driven club based in Northwestern Ontario. Our mission is to create a fun and engaging environment where skaters can develop their skills and a love for the sport. While we have focused on foundational skating in recent years, our goal is to grow the club and eventually reintroduce our skaters to the world of competition. We haven’t participated in competitive events for several years, but we are eager to build up our program and support our skaters in reaching new heights.
The successful candidate will be willing to instruct the CanSkate program but most notably StarSkate levels 1-5. He or she will also be responsible for helping to plan ice shows, assessment days and preparing for competitions.
If you are a passionate and dedicated Skate Canada Coach looking to make a positive impact in a close-knit community, we would love to hear from you. Join us in helping our skaters achieve their full potential and develop a lifelong love of skating!
