Job Description
Skate Oakville is seeking a reliable and motivated Off-Ice Instructor to support the delivery of off-ice training sessions during our summer program. The successful candidate will assist in leading off-ice classes for skaters ranging from beginner to elite levels, with the opportunity to occasionally lead sessions as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist in the delivery of off-ice classes, supporting lead instructors as directed.
·
Provide hands-on guidance and corrections to skaters during training sessions.
·
Occasionally lead sessions in the absence of the primary instructor.
·
Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe training environment.
·
Ensure exercises are appropriate for age and skill level.
·
Communicate effectively with skaters and coaching staff.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
·
Experience in off-ice training, dance, fitness, or working with youth athletes.
·
Interest in figure skating or previous experience with skating programs is an asset.
·
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
·
Ability to follow direction and contribute to a positive athlete experience.
·
First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
