Job Description
The Crystal Ridge Skating Club is located in Fort Erie, Ontario. We provide programming at both the Leisureplex and Crystal Ridge arenas for skaters from Pre-CanSkate to StarSkate 1-Gold.
We are actively hiring a motivated and dedicated CanSkate Coach in training (or higher) to be part of our coaching team. We are seeking a coach who demonstrates commitment to developing skaters in a fun and positive environment.
The successful candidate must be committed to working collaboratively as part of a coaching team.
The CRSC offers Pre-Can, CanSkate, Pre-Star, and Star 1-Gold. Our programing runs from October to March with Spring CanSkate,/StarSkate and Summer StarSkate programs.
Qualifications
Qualifications to be met by October 1, 2025:
- CanSkate In-Training status or higher
- To be a Registered Skate Canada Professional Coach in Good Standing:
- Must hold a valid First Aid Certificate
- Maintain a renewed NCCP certification status as per the Coaching Association of Canada’s (CAC) Maintenance of Certification Policy
- Have agreed to the Skate Canada Code of Ethics
- Complete the Respect in Sport Activity Leader Training
- Complete Back Check (18 years and older)
