Skate Ontario Strategic Plan for 2023-2027 is currently in the development stages and we are reaching out to stakeholder groups for input to inform the plan forward.  As the Lead for this  project, I’m inviting you to participate in one of the two Zoom 90 minute sessions on Tuesday, March 7 – 12:00pm OR 7:00 pm – and share your input.

Through a series of brainstorm activities during the session, coach input on Skate Ontario Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) will be collected.   The objective of the exercise is to evaluate the position of Skate Ontario today, identifying internal and external factors as well as current and future potential from the perspective of you, the coaches.   NOTE:  Development of solutions is not in the scope of this exercise.

In preparation, you may want to refresh yourselves on the current Strategic Plan as it was originally rolled out – attached.  Although the current Strategic Plan 2020-2023 has anchored Skate Ontario during the period, COVID made it challenging to meet many of the original objectives. Nonetheless, it is a strong document that will inform the future and bring value to the input exercise.
