On behalf of Skate Ontario, it is with profound sadness that we share news of the sudden passing of Gary Collier. 

Gary was a volunteer with over 25 years of service from the club, to the Section, to the national level.  He was best known as the lead music technician for eastern Ontario and also contributed in other areas from maintaining all the music equipment to many years of successful grant acquisitions.  Gary had a reputation for being gracious, easy to get along with and always very conscious of his team.  You never had to worry when Gary was at the helm!  His is a huge loss to the skating community.
