2026-2027 Sectional Series & Synchro Series Calendar Release
We are pleased to announce the dates and locations for the 2026-2027 Sectional Series and Synchro Series Events. The dates and locations in the calendars below are as outlined in the bid package shared earlier this year.
Event locations noted as “TBD” will be released shortly.

Sectional Series August – Registration Dates
Sectional Series August is scheduled to take place August 14-16, 2026, in Kitchener-Waterloo. This event will offer Pre-Juvenile to Senior in Singles, Pair, Partnered Dance and Solo Dance. STAR 6-Gold will not be offered at Sectional Series August this season. Registration will be staggered to offer priority to Pre-Novice to Senior level athletes. Any remaining spots will open to Pre-Juvenile and Juvenile athletes.
Registration for Pre-Novice to Senior in Singles, Pair, and Dance will open Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET. Spots for Pre-Novice to Senior will be prioritized until registration for Pre-Juvenile & Juvenile athletes opens. Please register promptly.
Registration for Pre-Juvenile & Juvenile in Singles, Pair, and Dance will open Friday, June 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET.
Registration for ALL levels and categories will close Monday, June 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM. If the event fills before this, athletes will be able to join the waitlist until the closing date & time.

Sectional Series September – Registration Dates
Sectional Series September is scheduled to take place September 18-20, 2026, in Ottawa. This event will offer Pre-Juvenile to Senior in Singles, Pair, Partnered Dance and Solo Dance, as well as STAR 6-Gold in Singles and Dance (space permitting). Registration will be staggered, offering priority to Pre-Novice to Senior level athletes. Any remaining spots will open to Pre-Juvenile and Juvenile, followed by STAR 6-Gold.
Registration for Pre-Novice to Senior in Singles, Pair, and Dance will open Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET. Spots for Pre-Novice to Senior will be prioritized until registration for Pre-Juvenile & Juvenile athletes opens. Please register promptly.
Registration for Pre-Juvenile & Juvenile in Singles and Dance will open Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET, space permitting.
Registration for STAR 6-Gold in Singles and Dance will open Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET, space permitting.

2026-2027 Provincial Series Assignment Process Update
Planning for the 2026-2027 Provincial Series Assignment Process (PSAP) is well underway, and we would like to share an important update so that you may plan your season accordingly.
Following the results and feedback of the 2025-2026 PSAP Survey, Provincial Series October will not be included in the 2026-2027 Provincial Series Assignment Process.
Registration for Provincial Series October will be offered as public registration only. As a result of this change, the 2026-2027 PSAP survey will open at a later date this season.

Bring On The Fun – Host Club and Skating School Call for Interest
In preparation for the upcoming 2026-2027 Bring On The Fun (BOTF) Series, Skate Ontario is excited to put out a Call for Interest for BOTF Host Clubs. All interested clubs/skating schools are encouraged to complete the SURVEY by Tuesday, June 30 at 11:59 PM ET.
