The Verner Skating Club is a community based, volunteer driven, not-for-profit organization that serves skaters of all ages. The programs we offer includes: CanSkate, our learn to skate program; Edge, Power & Balance to help young hockey players improve their fundamental skills and techniques; and STAR Skate for figure skaters both recreational and competitive.
Our Board of Directors is a team of passionate volunteers who give their time to operating the Club and providing opportunity for sports in our community.
Our coaches are certified by Skate Canada through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), and develop and deliver quality community and competitive skating programs for skaters.
The Verner Skating Club’s goal is to ensure our skaters have the opportunity to develop skating skills, cultivate a love of performance and competition, and have fun!
