As a proud member of Skate Canada, we have been providing high-quality skating programs in North York for over 75 years. We are also part of Skate Ontario’s CanSkate Excellence Program, which includes three tiers: Engaged, Achieved, and Exceeded. We are proud to have earned the highest level—Exceeded Standard—meaning our club not only meets all Skate Canada guidelines but consistently goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional experience for our skaters.
Founded in 1949, the Upper Canada Skating Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving the skating community. It is led by a volunteer Board of Directors, made up of five elected members, including one coach from the Club. The Board meets monthly to guide the Club’s direction and ensure smooth seasonal operations.
Supporting the Board are two staff members: a Club Manager, who oversees daily operations, email communications, registrations and program coordination, and an Office Administrator, who provides support for the coaches and the members at the Club. Together, the Board and staff work together to create a positive and successful experience for all skaters.
