About Us

The Gloucester Skating Club has been serving skaters since 1971 – we are one of the largest clubs in Canada, with an active membership of more than 1000 skaters. We have been the home and training center of many accomplished skaters including 1988 Olympic and World Silver Medalist, Elizabeth Manley. Our professional coaching staff is second to none, developing skaters from the grassroots up to provincial, national and international success. Our mission: We are committed to personal excellence through skating. We support and strive to embrace the passion for skating in each individual within our community by providing a full range of quality programs, skilled and dedicated coaches, in a safe, fair and motivating environment.

Extra Details

Our On-Ice programs include: Pre-CanSkate, CanSkate, Pre-Star (intro to StarSkate), STARSkate (Freeskate, Skills, Dance, and Artistic), CompetitiveSkate, Adult/Rec Skate, and SynchroSkate (A3 adult team).

Our Off-Ice Training programs are designed for Pre-Stars and up. Training includes off-ice jumping technique, ballet, dance, mobility and movement classes, and strength and conditioning.
