Welcome to Beaverton Skating Club! We take pride in our learn to skate programs that focus on developing skaters abilities and skills while creating a fun, positive and confidence building atmosphere. We have been teaching people to skate for over 70 years! Skaters get to showcase what they have learned in our annual year end ice show!

PreCanSkate program offers an “OFF-ICE” portion to their session. This helps the little ones obtain more balance on their skates once they get “ON-ICE”. (10 minutes off ice, 30 minutes on ice per session)CanSkate programs is also valuable to our young skaters. They spend time in our different “ON-ICE” centres, with different coaches, mastering balance, agility and control. This will help skaters become more prepared for any ice skating sport they wish to pursue, all while earning badges and ribbons! (50 minutes per session).PreStar program is designed to help make the transition between CanSkate and StarSkate. It allows the skaters to be in a more structured group session all while being introduced to the world of figure skating. StarSkate program is for the skaters who have earned all their ribbons and badges and the lower level. Skaters have the opportunity to learn different figure skating techniques and develop advanced disciplines.
