About Us

The Baltimore Figure Skating Club (BFSC) is proud to be celebrating 41 years of success, and is looking forward to many more. It has been a mandate of the Baltimore Figure Skating Club to adapt the Long-Term Athlete Development framework into our training. BFSC takes pride in delivering successful skating programs that focus on developing skaters’ abilities and skills, while not forgetting the “fun” side of the beautiful sport of figure skating. Our coaching staff are trained professionals, who utilize and emphasize the importance of ‘team coaching’. They individualize programming to meet the needs of each skater, and strive to create a positive atmosphere for all members.

Extra Details

The Baltimore Figure Skating Club has been honoured to host many competitions and test days for surrounding clubs to participate in. Skaters have represented BFSC at Eastern Ontario Sectionals, as well as having many skaters achieve Gold Level Status in all disciplines. It has been a privilege for BFSC to have National and International Figure Skaters attend annual year-end ice shows, including: Chris Mabee, Roselle Doyle, Shawn Sawyer, Joannie Rochette, Chloe Choinard/Mathieu Ostiguy, and Jeffrey Buttle. BFSC has some exciting events planned for the 2018-2019 season!
