Club and Skating Schools Can Post Jobs through the Members Portal!

Originally Published July 6, 2023

Skate Ontario recently launched the new Members Portal to our member Club and Skating Schools and we’re excited to share that you can now submit job postings directly to the Skate Ontario job board through the portal!

The Members Portal offers an enhanced online space for communication between Skate Ontario and our member Clubs/Schools and will become your ‘go-to’ spot for

  • Submitting job postings
  • Resources related to Club & School Governance & Operations
  • Engaging with your fellow community members via the Discussion Boards
  • Signing up for Training & Education Sessions
  • and effective Sept 1 managing your club/school’s profile in the Find a Club feature of our website

Each Club/School is invited to create one account inside the portal. We suggest creating the account using a generic club email address and using a password that can be shared with your fellow Board members. You will share the log in information for your account with other Board Members or Administrators at your Club that will be accessing the portal.

You can Create Your Members Portal Account Here!

If you have any questions at all about accessing your club/school’s account in the portal please do not hesitate to contact Kate McNeil ([email protected]).

How to post a job

To post a job you will need to be logged into the Member Portal. Click “Job Board” then press “Post a Job” in the top right corner under the main menu bar. This should populate in the members portal in the same day, and it will take 12 hours for the job to populate on the Skate Ontario website.

How to create a login for the Members Portal to post jobs and more

To post a job you will need to create an account in the Members Portal. Note there is only one login email per club/skating school. Please use an email address that will remain in consistent use over time. On the login page select “Not yet a member?” This is under the Sign in button, then Select Registration Type. For registration type, you can choose one of three options: “I am an existing club / school, I am applying to be a brand new Skate Canada club, I am applying to be a brand new Skate Canada school.” After selecting your registration type, press continue and complete the registration process.
