Attention sports organizations! The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport is supporting active recreation at the grassroots level and increasing participation in sport and recreation by under-represented groups. This year, they are partnering with Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities to help community sport and recreation organizations in Ontario develop or sustain programming for children and youth.

Application intake is now open, for programs with a start date between May 1, 2024 – August 31, 2024. Eligible applicants include community sport and recreation organizations, municipalities, Indigenous communities, schools, and amateur athletic associations.
