This year’s Skate Ontario Section Program Assistant Award goes to Hannah Pratt from the Renfrew SC. Hannah has been a reliable and hard working PA at her club for the past 6 years. She always goes above and beyond of what is expected of her and is a leader for other skaters who PA with her. Coaches at her club can always count on her and trust that the skaters are in good hands when Hannah is on the ice.

She is very keen to take the CanSkate coaching course and begin her path to becoming a coach. She is constantly promoting the sport of skating and has a strong ambition to grow her club.

When asked what her philosophy about volunteer work is, Hannah said “I just feel like it’s important to give back. I especially want to give back to this sport because it has given me so much, like confidence. The ice is my happy place and I want it to be part of my life for the rest of my life.”
