We are excited to announce Therese Bilsborough to the Skate Ontario team as the Officials Coordinator.

Therese joins the team in a part-time role and is responsible for coordinating all aspects of Officials programming, including training clinics, the Officials database and Officials communications.

Therese brings 20 years of experience with figure skating in various roles from being a parent, Official and board member at the club, region and section level. She has been an active Data Specialist for 7 years and is a Level III Data Specialist. Therese was the Chair of the Data Specialist Operating Committee, a member of the Transition Committee and a Director on the Skate Ontario Board of Directors.

Therese has not only been involved with figure skating, she has volunteered and worked with Officials from other sport organizations such as the Welland International Flatwater Centre, Toronto 2015, World Under 17 Hockey, Youth Bowling Council and Canadian Dragon Boat.

Therese’s experience makes her an ideal candidate for this role. Please join us in welcoming Therese to the team.
