Giuliana Corsini, a 10-year old Pre-Juvenile skater from the Hamilton Skating Club, will be featured in an upcoming episode of the new TVOKids show “Sports Lab”. Sports Lab will examine the relationship between science and sport, and will air 26 episodes, each featuring a different sport. The show will debut on Monday, June 22nd, at 6:30pm, with new shows airing every Monday and repeats on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Sports Lab is hosted by Nykeem Provo and the Figure Skating episode will feature Giuliana and coach Bryce Davison, along with skaters Alistair, Brooke, Caelin, and Chloe (also from the Hamilton club). Giuliana, who is coached by Jen Jackson and Bryce Davison, would like to be a Pairs skater, and dreams of being in the Olympics someday.

Filming was done at the Hamilton Skating Club on January 29, 2015, and Skate Ontario was there to capture some “behind-the-scenes” photos that we are excited to share with you.

The air date for the Figure Skating episode has not yet been determined, but the first few episodes will likely feature summer sports (especially with the Pan Am Game coming up in July).
