Three members of the Nexxice Sychronized Skating Team were inducted into the Barrie Sports Hall of Fame on October 6th. Nicole Rodgers, Taryn Milne and Emily Penrose were all recognized for their contributions to the World Championship winning team. All three are Barrie residents and started their skating careers in Barrie and Innisfil.
The induction took place at the Southshore Community Centre where Doug Leigh unveiled the portrait of the girls.
