Mississauga Skating Club

4141 Dixie Road, Rockwood Postal Outlet, PO Box 41017, Mississauga, Ontario, L4W 5C9

Job Description

Some coaches are just starting to build their voice. Others have been shaping skaters for years.

At Mississauga Skating Club, we value both.

We are hiring CanSkate and STARSkate Coaches who believe great sessions don’t happen by accident; they’re prepared, structured, and intentional. Whether you’re an emerging coach looking for strong mentorship and clear expectations or a seasoned professional who thrives in a standards-driven environment, MSC offers a place where your work on the ice truly matters.

You’ll deliver CanSkate and STARSkate group programs (as qualilfied) aligned with Skate Canada and Skate Ontario standards, sessions that start on time, flow with purpose, and create safe, engaging environments where skaters progress with confidence. You’ll collaborate with Program Directors, contribute to club events, maintain strong communication with families, and uphold professional and Safe Sport standards without compromise.

For newer coaches, this is an opportunity to grow within a club with clear structure, strong leadership, and defined performance expectations. For veteran coaches, this is an opportunity to contribute your experience within a culture that respects professionalism, values teamwork, and is intentionally building long-term sustainability.

If you believe that development comes first, that preparation builds credibility, and that culture is created in every interaction on the ice, we want to hear from you.

Join our dynamic coaching team at Mississauga SC, offering programs 6 days a week at Tomken and Iceland Arenas. We’re seeking dedicated coaches who are eager to grow with our club long-term. We are the proud inaugural winner of the Skate Ontario 2024 Club of the Year Award and are a CanSkate and STAR 1-5 Excellence Exceeded Standard Club.
