Job Description
CanSkate Coordinator
Minto Skating Club is seeking an enthusiastic and organized CanSkate Coordinator to lead our flagship CanSkate program.
This role is ideal for an experienced Coach who is passionate about skating development and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of all CanSkate sessions
- Provide on-session leadership and ensure program quality and safety
- Supervise and support a team of CanSkate coaches
- Ensure alignment with Skate Canada’s CanSkate standards and guidelines
- Maintain skater records and organize end-of-season assessments
- Plan fun days and special events
Qualifications
- NCCP CanSkate Coach Certified (minimum)
- In Good Standing with Skate Canada – must have current Skate Canada registration, Respect in Sport certification, and a valid Background Check
- Previous experience in CanSkate leadership or coordination is strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
- Available for weeknight and weekend programming
