Job Description
We are hiring at least 1 coach to run our StarSkate Program.
We are anticipating 8 returning young skaters (15 & under) who recently graduated CanSkate or are about to, plus additional adult skaters interested in returning (pending coaches)
More coaches to provide that 1 on 1 would be amazing!
Our StarSkate program would run on either on Mondays 8:00 – 9:30 PM or Thursdays 7-8PM. We are also hiring more CanSkate Coaches starting at 5 PM on Monday evenings if you are interested in that as well.
Ice time is not set yet so we are flexible to work around your schedule for STARSkate. I am looking into getting a third day in there but as of right now, it is just the two days.
Starting October 2025, and ending the last weekend of March 2026.
Qualifications
- Skate Canada professional with a NCCP Regional Coach or higher status; Coach in-training will be considered if certification is expected to be completed in the 2025-2026 skating season.
- Be a Registered Skate Canada Professional Coach in good standing.
