Job Description
The North Bay Skating Club is seeking a passionate and motivated Regional Coach (certified or in-training) to join our team for the 2025–2026 season.
NBSC plays a key role in helping children and youth learn to skate and supporting skaters at all levels, from CANSkate through STARskate. We’re looking for a coach who fosters a positive and inclusive environment, aligns with Skate Canada and Skate Ontario standards, and is committed to helping us support figure skating in the region.
Located in a beautiful city with strong community spirit and access to nature, North Bay offers a welcoming lifestyle and the opportunity to make a real impact in Northern Ontario skating.
Qualifications
– Regional Coach Certified (in training considered)
– Synchro coaching experience considered an asset
– In Good Standing with Skate Canada
– proven leadership, communication, and organization skills
– completed Skate Ontario’s Star 1-5 Excellence webinar
– committed to supporting skaters at Skate Ontario events
– available for mornings, evenings, weekends Sept-May, July
