Job Description
The Forest Skating Club is excited to announce two openings for a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach who are passionate and motivated to join our team. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about fostering a positive and supportive environment for skaters of all levels. This is a fantastic opportunity for coaches with a proven track record of developing talent, fostering teamwork, and helping skaters achieve their full potential. The ideal candidates will bring strong leadership skills, a commitment to skating development, and a genuine love for the sport.
Our ice times are Mondays from 4:30-7pm and Thursdays 4:30-7:30pm. Our programs include PreCanSkate, CanSkate, Junior StarSkate, and Senior StarSkate. Our season begins in September and ends in March/April.
Qualifications
- Certified Regional Coach and in good standing with Skate Canada.
- Strong understanding of Skate Canada programming and policies.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills to lead a coaching team and work collaboratively with the Board of Directors.
- Ability to foster a positive, professional, and development-focused environment.
