We are pleased to announce the 2024-2025 Provincial Series Assignment Process.
The goal of the Provincial Series Assignment Process is to provide skaters across the province, if they so choose, with an opportunity to compete at least once in each of the three competition blocks:
- November/December
- January
- February
Assigned athletes will be offered advanced registration for one event per competition block in the 2024-2025 competitive season. For skaters to be assigned to an event, completion of the Provincial Series Assignment Process Survey is required. Skate Ontario will endeavour to assign every skater who completes the survey to their first or second choice.
The Provincial Series Assignment Process Survey will open Monday, August 26th, 2024, at 10:00 AM ET. The survey must be completed by Monday, September 9th, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET. If you do not complete the survey by the deadline, you will not be included in the assignment process and must wait for public registration. Late survey completion requests cannot be accommodated. Event assignments are not completed on a first-come, first-served basis. All survey responses received before the deadline are treated equally.
The Provincial Series Assignment Process Survey will be communicated through the following channels:
- Sent via e-mail to all subscribers of the Skate Ontario mailing list*
- Posted on Skate Ontario social media platforms
- Shared on the Skate Ontario Members Portal for clubs and skating schools
- Linked on the main page for the Provincial Series Assignment Process
