Windsor Figure Skating Club o/a Skate Windsor – Canskate Coaches needed for 2022/2023 Season

Windsor Figure Skating Club (operating as Skate Windsor) is looking for a CanSkate Coach for the 2022/23 season that is enthusiastic, motivated and has a passion for coaching in a team environment. Our programs run out of Adie Knox and Forest Glade Arena in Windsor, Ontario. We offer programs Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturday and Sunday.

Great opportunity to Coaches attending the University of Windsor or St Clair College for their post secondary education.

CanSkate Coach Qualifications:

• CanSkate Coach in Training or Certified
• Must be in good standing with Skate Canada
• Must be a registered coach with Skate Canada for the 2022/23 season
• Must have current first aid & police record check accepted by Skate Canada
• Completed the Skate Canada Code of Ethics
• Completed the Respect in Sport Activity Leader Training

• Able to work in a team environment with direction from our CanSkate Coordinator
• Committed to deliver a high quality program
• Have a love for skating and enjoy working with children and adults
• Have excellent communication skills
• Demonstrates commitment to developing skaters in a fun and positive environment
