The West Toronto Skating Club is seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Regional or Provincial Coach to join our coaching team.
Located in Toronto near Dundas at Dufferin and skating at the McCormick playground arena we offer CanSkate and STARSkate sessions 5 days a week from September to May.
The successful candidate will have a willingness to work with the other coaches. The Coach is expected to provide a safe, encouraging, and positive training environment for all skaters, parents, coaches, officials, and volunteers. The Coach will be available to coach CanSkate through to Gold, for both youth and adult skaters.
The Applicant must be:
- A Skate Canada certified Regional or Provincial professional coach with current first aid and police record check.
- Interested in continuing education in coaching.
- An excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills.
- Interested in coaching both CanSkaters and STARSkaters.
