Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Coordinator, Club Programs is a member of the Skate Ontario sport department responsible for programming at the Fundamentals and Learn to Train stages of development. Included in the responsibilities are the coordination of planning and logistics, execution, communication, and monitoring for all programming directed to clubs and schools working in the Fundamentals and Learn to Train stages of development. The coordinator is responsible for providing a consistent and best in class approach to all sport programs for Ontario.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate, support and execute CanSkate Excellence programming 
  • Coordinate, support and execute Club Modernization Pilot Programming 
  • Coordinate, support and execute PowerSkate development opportunities
  • Support STAR 1-5 Excellence programming
  • Coordinate, support and execute communications with club/skating schools
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide effective customer service and support to stakeholders
  • Contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional team as a member of the Sport Department
  • Work with other Skate Ontario departments from time to time as required
