CanSkate/STARSkate Coaching Opportunity

The Aurora Skating Club is seeking candidates to join our coaching team for the 2022/2023 Season. The ASC operates out of the Aurora Family Leisure Complex, 135 Industrial Parkway N. Aurora. This position involves coaching group lessons on our STARSkate and CanSkate sessions, as well as offering private lessons to our skaters as needed. We offer CanSkate and STARSkate sessions on Monday/Tuesday/ Wednesday/Thursday weekday evenings, and 2 CanSkate Saturday mornings. Applicants must be able to work Saturday. We are seeking candidates available to begin coaching on our Winter session November 1^st, 2022.

Hoping to find a coach who embraces a team environment, working together in a fun and positive manner to encourage and develop our young skaters.

Qualifications:

• Skate Canada Professional Regional Coach In-training or higher
• Must be in good standing with Skate Canada
• Must be a registered coach with Skate Canada for the 2022/2023
• Valid First Aid Certificate
