CanSkate Coaches needed for the 2022-2023 season-Scarboro Figure Skating Club

Work at one of Canada’s oldest and most active skating clubs offering sessions year round for a variety of programs from CanSkate to Competitive ice Dance and CanPowerSkate. If you are enthusiastic about teaching young people to skate, believe that skating is for everyone, and look forward to learning and working with a team of highly qualified and experienced coaches, then the S.F.S.C. is a great fit for you.

The Scarboro Skating Club offers CanSkate sessions four times a week from Wednesday to Saturday. You can find our schedule posted on the club website:

We are looking for one or two CanSkate coaches to teach on a minimum of two sessions a week.



-CanSkate In-Training status or higher

-Registered Skate Canada Professional Coach in good standing:

*has completed a screening by a Skate Canada approved company and status shows as CLEAR

*holds a valid first aid certificate

*maintains an up to date NCPP certification status

*has agreed to and upholds the Skate Canada Code of Ethics

*has completed the Respect in Sport Activity Leader Training
