Interruption Rule Seminars at Octoberfest

Attention Athletes & Coaches:

Unexpected situations in sport can arise at any time. Do you know what to do if something happens during your skater’s performance? What if they get injured? What if they have equipment problems?

Want to learn more about the Interruption Rule, how the athlete should respond and how it will impact their score?

Skate Ontario is hosting three 30 minute seminars presented by ISU Judge/Challenge Referee Reaghan Fawcett for athletes and coaches this weekend at Octoberfest. We strongly encourage to attend one of the sessions to learn critical information that will help you best prepare your skater for any situation and have the best possible outcome.

All sessions will be held at the Allandale Rec Centre in Barrie, room location is TBD. Please check upon arrival to the arena for the room location. There is no registration required for these seminars, it is on a drop in basis, and all three seminars will present the same information.

Seminar 1: Thursday, October 12 from 7:00-7:30 pm

Seminar 2: Friday, October 13 from 6:00-6:30pm

Seminar 3: Sunday, October 15 from 1:00-1:30pm
