About Us

Skate Lasalle was founded in 1975 and is a not-for-profit Skate Canada sanctioned organization. Our club is governed by a Board of Directors, made up entirely of community volunteers. Skate Lasalle is supported by our experienced team of professional coaches and our strong community of parent and skater volunteers. Skate Lasalle’s programs are run out of the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex in Lasalle, Ontario. Skate Lasalle offers CanSkate, StarSkate programs, as well as many off-ice programs, workshops and clinics geared to enhance our skaters enjoyment and performance in the sport. Skate Lasalle also produces a biennial Ice Carnivals, which gives the skaters the opportunity to perform for their family and friends. Skate Lasalle currently has over 300 members and over the past 40 years has taught thousands to skate. In the 2017-18 season, Skate Lasalle had over 40 skaters actively competing across Ontario. Skate Lasalle is committed to creating an environment that is fun, challenging and encourages all skaters to perform at their highest potential, while also fostering strong team spirit among all of our skating family.
