Job Description
We are actively seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic coach who enjoys working as a team for our upcoming 2023-2024 season.
Our session run from September – April and offers programs 3-days evenings a week (Mon / Tues / Thurs)
Applicants will be considered for coaching PreCanSkate/CanSkate, PreStar & StarSkate programs. The applicant must be willing to coach club group lessons (PreStar & StarSkate) as well as offering private / semi-private / group lessons to our skaters as needed. Coaches will also be considered for “team coaching” opportunities. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence, be reliable and committed and work well as part of a coaching team.
Qualifications
-Valid First Aid certificate
-NCCP certificate & member in good standing with Skate Canada
-CanSkate club coach certified (or in-training)
-Regional coach certified (or in-training / higher)
-Be an excellent communicator
-Excellent team building and interpersonal skills
