The Dundas Figure Skating Club (DFSC) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated coach, with strong communication skills. We are seeking a coach available to join us in September for our 2022/23 season and beyond.
DFSC has been offering skating programs in Dundas, Ontario for 70 years and is located at the Westoby Ice Surface (Olympic Arena). We offer skating programs 5 days a week (Tuesday to Saturday), from September to May.
Our programs include Parent & Tot, PreCanSkate, CanSkate (programs for all ages, including teens and adults), CanPowerSkate, Intro to Figure Skating (STAR Intro Group) and STARSkate. The Club has approximately 595 skaters.
The successful candidate must be available to coach CanPowerSkate on Friday evenings. The Applicant must:
- be a Skate Canada Certified NCCP Coach, meeting all current Skate Canada requirements
- have a proven history of success in coaching
- be an excellent communicator
- be reliable and committed
- enjoy working with children, teens and adults
- be in good standing with Skate Canada
