Job Description
The Prescott Figure Skating Club is expanding our coaching team for the fall/winter 2023/24 season and beyond. Coaches are needed for CanSkate group sessions, CanPower programs, as well as group and private lessons for Future Star and Star Skate programs. Skating sessions are Monday, Wednesday, Friday evenings and Saturday mornings from September to March (with the possibility of Spring/Summer 2024).
PFSC has been teaching Prescott and area how to skate for 55 years, from CanSkaters to Canadian Champions, and has a long history of community support. In 2018, Prescott’s arena was closed and PFSC was reduced to a small CanSkate group on a nearby goalie rink. The club has been in the process of rebuilding our programs since then, gradually expanding our programs and increasing our membership to over 150 skaters this past season! In September 2023, we will move our programs into Prescott’s brand new Alaine Chartrand Community Centre. If this excites you too, we would love to have you join us!
Qualifications
Applicants must have a minimum of CanSkate. Applicants with Regional in-Training status or higher are welcome. CanPower is an asset. Must be in “good standing” with Skate Canada. All who apply will be given consideration. Qualified applicants are invited to send a current resume to prescottfigureskatingclub@gmail.com
Attention: Club President
