Perth Figure Skating Club Seeking Regional Coach or higher

The Perth Figure Skating Club is actively seeking NCCP Regional level or higher certified coaches in all figure skating disciplines for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. The club is located in Perth, Ontario and have sessions on Wednesday and Friday evenings as well as Saturday mornings.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic team player to join our coaching staff. Applicants must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with skaters, parents, fellow coaches and the Board of Directors.

The Perth Figure Skating Club offers programming including PreCANSkate, CANSkate, Intro to STARSkate and STARSkate. In addition to on ice instruction, coaches are expected to participate/volunteer in some club activities/events.

Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Skate Canada professional coach in good standing
  • Regional coach trained or higher is preferred
  • Trained in the current Star 1-5 program
  • Valid First aid certificate
  • Positive Role Model/Team player
  • Confident in all disciplines: interpretive, dance, skills and free skate up to and including Gold level
  • Willing to commit to private lesson base students in all levels, on-ice group classes, as well as supporting other programs as required
