Job Description
The Markham Skating Club is seeking qualified candidates to expand our CanSkate coaching team for the upcoming 2023/2024 season. MSC operates out of the Markham Village arena at Markham Rd. and Highway 7. We run programs 6 days per week — weekday evenings and Saturday mornings.
The position will involve Coaching group lessons for CanSkate and Pre-CanSkate programs as well as evaluating skaters and completing Report Cards.
Successful candidates will be highly motivated and willing to work within a team environment and will provide a safe and fun environment for our skaters and their families.
Qualifications
CanSkate Coach Qualifications
- Skate Canada professional CanSkate Coach In-training or higher
- Must be in good standing with Skate Canada
- Must be a registered coach with Skate Canada for the 2023/2024 season
- Valid First Aid Certificate
