Burlington Skating Centre seeking Competitive Coaches for 2022/2023 Year starting Summer 2022

The Burlington Skating Centre is a not for profit, Skate Canada sanctioned Club for the past 60 years. We are currently in search of a Competitive NCCP Regional or higher-level Coaches to work within the competitive Coaching team. These individuals must be interested in coaching and developing skaters from the CanSkate level and higher. Burlington Skating Centre is looking for individuals who enjoy working as a team member within a seasoned coaching staff and committed to the development of skaters at all levels.

CanSkate Coach Qualifications:

  • Club Coach Trained or higher (CanSkate)
  • Must be in good standing with Skate Canada

STARSkate Coach Qualifications: 

  • Regional Trained or higher
  • Must be in good standing with Skate Canada

Additional Qualifications:

  • Reliable and committed
  • Comfortable teaching group lessons
  • Able to work in a team coaching environment
  • Have a love for skating and enjoy working with children/adults
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrates commitment to developing skaters in a fun, positive environment
