It’s a busy week for some of figure skating biggest stars, with international competitions happening in Helsinki, Finland and Fukuoka, Japan.

ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships

Burlington’s NEXXICE senior team is competing at the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships in Helsinki, Finland. NEXXICE has won two world titles and is joined by Canadian champions Nova in what will be a spectacular competition.

All of the skaters headed to the World Team Trophy in Fukuoka, Japan, with the exception of Keegan Messing come from Skate Ontario: Nam Nguyen, Alaine Chartrand, Gabrielle Daleman, Kirsten Moore-Towers and Michael Marinaro and Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje.
